Some call it intuition, others refer to it as pattern recognition; whatever it may be, I have it. My brain scans information from various sources and detects trends in ways I can only describe as a Scantron. (Do schools still use those?) This skill has been vital to my career and my latest KEAUTY series. Last week, I started chronicling the K-beauty products that are actually trending in Korea — and aren’t just Western marketing clickbait.

For the first part of this series, I shared the most popular cleansers, toners, and toner pads in Korea. Now, I have the rest of the K-beauty skincare lineup for you to explore.

And this probably goes without saying, but it’s incredibly important to me to report on Korean beauty in the most authentic way possible—now and when I started covering beauty in 2014. My K-beauty stories have never been about hopping onto a bandwagon. They have been (and always will be) about sharing a culture that deeply respects and enhances beauty. South Korea is vital to beauty innovations and where dozens of your favorite products are manufactured, even if they aren’t from Korean brands. With increasing xenophobia happening in our government right now, I’m not going to let up on this!!! You can take away my favorite sunscreens, but you can’t take away the information I will share with my abelskin readers!!!
