HI, GIRLINAS!!!!!
Did you miss abelskin in your inbox? I apologize for my absence. I was deep in major beef with Mr. Spectrum for almost two months and operated with limited wifi for way too long. But I’m back in action and about to be more annoying than ever before!!!! Fall is my season! (I’m a Scorpio, if you had no idea.) That being said….I thought I should share some skin-care products I’ve taken from summer to fall that I think you will enjoy!
A.M. Serum: Dr. Vita Premium Collagen&Vitamin Capsule Cream
This is my latest secret K-beauty find that I’m revealing just for you guys!!! The vitamin-focused skincare brand is owned by the same company as Dr. Orga, which has won tons of awards in Korea for its hair-care products.
Although it’s called a cream, it’s basically a vitamin C serum with a viscous gel texture. The little beads floating in it feel like nothing as you rub the serum onto your skin. The white ones contain dark spot-diminishing tranexamic acid ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and glutathione. The transparent capsules are packed with brighteners vitamin C, sea buckthorn extract, and niacinamide.
P.M. Serum: COMP’D AHA Super Serum
Following the little lineup gif above, I slather my skin with an acid-based serum every 3(?) days for some gentle chemical exfoliation to keep more pores right and tight. I haven’t found one I like for a lonnnnnng time. I literally savored every drop for my Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy 5% Multi-Acid Radiance Peel for way too long to admit. Just when I finally ran out, the COMP’D AHA Super Serum appeared on my doorstep. It’s super milky and doesn’t sting or irritate my skin. I love its balance of lactic acid and hydrating ingredients (HA, aloe, squalane, glycerin). I swear it works overnight. My skin looks soooo glowy and clear the morning after.
P.M. Serum: BeautyStat Triple-Plump Coconut Milk Serum
On the nights when I’m not using retinol (currently IOPE’s Super Bounce) or ^^^^, I’m using this coconut milky serum. It smells like fresh coconut in the best, most delicious way. It was created by cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson, who is famed for his work with rhode, Clinique, Estée, and Revlon, so you know it’s GOOD. I love how moisturizing and soothing this serum is. It’s almost like a lotion. If you have skin that gets sensitive randomly when the temps start dropping, you’re going to FALL in love with this.
Beekman 1802 Milk Rx Advanced Better Aging Cream
This moisturizer is so decadently rich without feeling claustrophobically heavy. I usually only use it at night, but lately, I keep catching myself reaching for it in the morning, too.
It has a bunch of claims behind it like 94% saw firmer skin, 91% saw visibly lifted skin, and it firms the cheek and jawline for a more sculpted look, but I only truly care whether a moisturizer feels comfortable and nourishing on my skin, and it 100% does. It’s going to be a great cold-weather formula to keep my skin from getting flaked up.
Superegg ∞(infinite) Layers Lip Care
I’ve never met a Superegg product I didn’t like, so of course, I’m obsessed with their new lip balm. I load up on ∞(infinite) Layers Lip Care before bed, and my lips have never felt smoother and more hydrated. I hardly have to put anything on them throughout the day, which is seriously impressive because I usually have to have something on my lips at ALL TIMES. If you plan to buy this, you might as well add the Pure Transparency Treatment Essence to your cart too. It’s miraculously silky and makes your skin feel just as sumptuous. Plus, it has something for every skin concern: gentle exfoliants, intense hydrators, collagen boosters, and blemish busters.
